But often with spring comes… the terrible spring fever. 😭 Spring fever is a real thing my friends; excessive chattiness, unable to focus, bouncing off the walls, and enough energy to power a small village, your students may very well become the victims of it! But fear not, I have created just the packet to offset any such symptoms! Engaging, hands-on, and fun are the themes to this spring activities packet, plus a sprinkle of bugs, flowers, and garden. Bug Shapes Match
Do your students love capturing bugs? Well here’s a great way for your students to capture bugs while keeping your classroom bug free! 😂 Kiddos match each bug shape to their correct jar. Use this as a center or even early finisher activity.
Tip ✨ Have your students say the name of each bug shape before they “capture it” in the glass jar to practice shape recognition.
Spring Alphabet Puzzles
This is a fun twist on your typical puzzle! Students match each letter to it’s correct space to create a spring themed picture. 🌷

SWAT! Alphabet Game
This is a great way to get those spring fever wiggles out with your class! It’s educational, engaging, and fun! Scatter the fly letters across the floor (or table if you’re doing it at a small group). Call out a letter and have your students search and swat the letter with a fly swatter (can be found at your local dollar store).
Tip ✨You can call out the letter plus it’s sound or just say the letter’s sound. Encourage your students to really “swat” that fly to make it more fun and engaging! 🎉
