Pre-K & TK: February Activities

February is here and I am so excited to share these Pre-K & TK February Activities with you! This is one of my favorite months because it has one of my favorite holidays: Valentine’s Day! Valentine’s day means two things: 1.) An excuse to inhale chocolate like there’s no tomorrow 2.) Everywhere you look, you see hearts and the color pink, my favorite color, I love it! (and all my students can confirm that ha!)

It was much to my delight that I was able to create these Valentine themed activities that circulated around hearts, candy, and love! And I think we can all agree, this world needs a lot more love in it. So let’s start with our students, using fun and engaging activities centered on the theme of love 😊

February Activities for Little Learners

For the Chocolate Shapes Play-Dough activity, I chose brown play-dough for my students to use as the “chocolate.” (SO FUN!) But you can also make your own CHOCOLATE SCENTED play-dough! I think I’m going to try this next time, my students would LOVE it! Check out this link for a recipe for chocolate play-dough https://theimaginationtree.com/best-ever-chocolate-play-dough-recipe/

This product includes 18 hands-on activities that encourages your students to use fun manipulatives such as candy hearts, magnetic letters, pom-poms, play-dough, and little red hearts. (courtesy of the Dollar Tree!) Your kiddos will practice letter recognition, letter/sound association, number recognition, counting, rhyming, colors, fine motor practice, and much more!

You can find all of these activities seen in the pictures above in my February Activities: Pre-K & TK bundle. Grab these activities and use them to make your classroom full of love, chocolate, and most importantly, the color pink😂
